General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Representative, Electrical to perform quality control inspections of electrical work and ensure installation standards are met on Navy ship repairs in accordance with NAVSEA and GDIT standards.
The role involves testing and inspection checkpoints, onsite work in Chesapeake, VA, and travel up to 50%. A minimum of 3 years of related experience and US citizenship are required.
Quality Assurance Representative, Electrical Performs Quality Control inspections of electrical work and ensures work meets installation standards in accordance with all NAVSEA and GDIT standards. Monitors and evaluates Navy Ship repairs to ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations. Performs Test and Inspection checkpoints as well as random Work In Process inspections.
The likely hourly rate for this position is between $32.30 - $43.70. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
