We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Quality Control Inspector with a strong background in machine shop manufacturing. The ideal candidate will bring a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of quality standards, and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all dimensional inspections to ensure parts and components meet required specifications

• Interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles

• Use and maintain manual inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.) with accuracy and proficiency

• Operate and/or program manual or DNC Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)

• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIRs) and in-process inspections throughout the manufacturing process

• Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a machine shop manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading

• Hands-on experience with manual inspection equipment

• Proficient in operating manual or DNC CMM

• Experience with FAIRs and in-process quality inspections

• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to product quality and continuous improvement

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Skills:

• Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO standards )

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
