Job description

Quality Assurance Project Specialist / QA Liasson

This position is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is a contract role offering $30.00 - $33.65 per hour. Work hours are from 9 to 5, and the minimum educational requirement is a High School diploma.

Job Summary

Support the maintenance, development, and improvement of Quality Systems within the department, including auditing, training, process validation, vendor management, equipment qualification, change control, complaint handling, and documentation control, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and ISO Quality Systems.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the instrument calibration program, including scheduling, documentation, and compliance.
  • Manage the Data Integrity Program for Quality Control, including GDP audits and compliance checks.
  • Respond to customer complaints and audit findings, leading CAPA investigations and ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Act as gatekeeper for local Quality Control change control, reviewing and assisting with change requests.
  • Write, review, and modify procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support local Quality System projects and participate in audits, including governmental regulatory audits.
  • Participate in quality system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Train and mentor Quality Control personnel on policies, procedures, and quality requirements.
Qualifications

High school diploma or 1-2 years vocational training/associates degree or Bachelor's in Chemistry or related field. Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.

Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP (QM preferred).
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 standards.
