Job summary

Stella Contracting, Inc. seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead QA/QC, compliance, and continuous-improvement initiatives across projects.

You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management to strengthen processes and resolve quality issues. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in quality management, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management, QA/QC, compliance, operations, engineering, or process improvement.
• Experience with quality systems, audits, corrective actions, and root-cause analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and effectively across multiple departments.
• Preferred: ISO/QMS experience, Lean/Six Sigma knowledge, ASQ certification, or related professional certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA and QC programs and processes.
• Set and monitor quality standards, KPIs, and metrics.
• Conduct audits, inspections, reviews, and quality assessments.
• Investigate quality issues and drive root-cause and corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
• Manage quality documentation, procedures, records, and reporting.
• Support QMS, regulatory, contractual, and organizational compliance.
• Analyze quality data and present trends, risks, and recommendations.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, and others.
• Promote accountability and continuous improvement culture.
