JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Quality Specialist 2 for Commercial Building Construction in Houston, TX. You will monitor the project quality program, review documents, attend meetings, conduct walk-through inspections, and investigate non-compliant conditions to support JE Dunn’s safety and quality goals.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in construction, strong QA knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with suppliers, document results, and participate in quality planning and reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s in architecture, construction mgmt or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years construction experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work non-traditional hours as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in safety and quality plans and promote an injury-free environment.
• Contribute to Project Specific Quality Plan and Quality Status Reports.
• Document QA processes, test results and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to maintain incoming material quality.
• Learn design documents to identify potential quality issues.
• Perform site observations to ensure specs and timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Attend pre-planning and progress meetings; conduct regular walk-throughs.
• Investigate non-compliant conditions and recommend root-cause fixes.
• Identify Major Quality Issues and support corrective actions.
