Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in Laurel, MS is seeking a Quality Assurance Production Associate to verify production processes, packaging, and food safety while documenting inventory and ensuring hold product release.

The role supports production teams and supervisors to maintain quality and compliance with NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and all regulatory policies. Evening and weekend shifts may be required in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in quality assurance or 6 months Wayne Farms employee.
• Intermediate math and computer skills.
• Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, coordinate with Production & QA teams to ensure proper handling of products and timely correction of deficiencies.
• Monitor lines and paperwork to ensure product specification compliance.
• Verify GMPs and correct labeling, lot codes, bags, and pallets.
• Assist with receiving of raw materials and inform QA if specifications are not met.
• Support production in addressing quality issues and ensure food safety policies are followed.
• Adhere to company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
