Job summary

Zero Hour Parts is seeking a Quality Assurance Metrology Analyst to translate blueprints into actionable inspection steps, measure parts with a CMM and handheld tools, and verify conformance from development through production.

You will analyze results, issue Certificates of Conformance, maintain tool inventories, and generate clear reports for leadership while staying current with quality standards and accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Turn customer blueprints and specifications into actionable inspection steps and acceptance criteria.
• Measure finished parts with handheld instruments and operate a CMM to validate capability.
• Accept or reject product; segregate nonconforming material to protect the customer.
• Run first article inspections and ensure required paperwork ships with the part.
• Sign Certificates of Conformance for the packing department.
• Capture results, analyze trends, and deliver clear reports to leadership.
• Issue and track shop tools; keep the tool inventory accurate and ready.
• Contribute to monitoring of production efficiency and cost-effectiveness through data-driven insights.
• Stay sharp on evolving quality standards, industry literature, and agency requirements.
• Work within the Zero Hour Parts quality management system; take on other duties.
