Job summary

Container Research Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join our QA/QC team. You will inspect aluminum containers for precision and conformance using tapes, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.

ASQ certifications and AS9100 familiarity are valued. We offer a four-day workweek, weekly pay, and full benefits after 60 days, with PTO after 6 months including your birthday.

Qualifications

• Experience using tapes, scales, micrometers, protractors, and various gauges.
• Familiarity with radius and fillet gauges, go/no-go gauges and Webster hardness testers.
• ASQ certifications and AS9100 standards familiarity are valuable.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections of aluminum containers to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Document inspection results and maintain QA/QC records.
• Assist in root-cause analysis and nonconformance reporting.

Job description

Container Research Corporation is a vertically integrated manufacturer of quality aluminum containers for the storage and transportation of high-value assets for defense and aerospace entities. For 65 years, we have produced a diversity of quality products for a robust and stable client base.

We are looking to add a Mechanical Inspector to our QA/QC team. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, computer-savvy, and have experience with tapes, scales, micrometers, protractors, radius and fillet gauges, go/no-go gauges, and Webster hardness testers.

Full-time, 6 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday

Pay rate: $20 - $23 per hour
