Job summary

United Alloy, Inc. is seeking a senior Quality Manager to maintain an effective quality management system and ensure products meet customer specifications. The role involves leading root cause analyses, coordinating audits, and communicating with customers and suppliers to resolve issues.

The candidate will review in-process quality, disposition nonconforming materials, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and SPC methods. On-site position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science preferred with 10+ years quality mgmt experience in metal fabrication or related field.
• ASQ certifications preferred: CQA/CQE/CQM/CSSGB/CQIA or CMQ/OE.
• Experience with ISO9001 and audits; PPAP knowledge is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an effective quality management system ensuring products meet customer and United Alloy requirements.
• Lead root cause investigations through to long-term resolutions.
• Review in-process quality failures and disposition nonconforming materials.
• Coordinate, communicate, and host customer and supplier audits as required.
• Serve as the window to customers on quality issues related to new product introductions and engineering changes.
