Quince’s innovative M2C supply chain model allows for Quince to have a lower environmental impact by reducing the amount of unsold/unused product that goes into landfills and ensures that every product made lasts for years. We select manufacturing partners that adhere to the highest standards in addressing labor and environmental topics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Excellence
  • Work closely with Merchandising, Product Development and Sourcing as a technical partner to ensure product specifications and standards are developed robustly, provide technical feasibility assessment at an early stage of the development and manufacturing readiness.
  • Provide a framework for best practices and processes through quality manual, testing protocol, inspection procedures and assessment tools development.
  • Develop and maintain Quince’s own testing library to ensure all products are tested rigorously with industry highest standards and/or Quince exclusive testing procedures as our commitment in delivering high quality products.
  • Partnering with CX and Merchandising in reviewing customer feedback and product performance to proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Strategic Approach:
  • Oversee all testing activities including qualifying and managing accredited 3rd party lab, ensuring the vendor sample submission timely and review all test reports for data analysis.
  • Manage global governance procedures for tracking product quality, supplier performance, and compliance by working closely with the engineering and QC team.
  • Establishing quality measurement throughout the whole supply chain as a meticulous process of evaluating and validating to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Performance Management and Reporting:
  • Establish, measure and validate quality metrics then consolidate data sources to streamline critical quality improvement initiatives in reducing defect(s) and return rate.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of processes for data driven decision making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or relevant field.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in quality assurance/quality control, ideally in the furniture or home goods industries.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience in implementing and managing automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of consumer product safety compliance such as EU/REACH, California Prop 65, Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act and/or global regulation is a plus.
  • Strong technical writing skills and documentation management experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.
  • Effective and influential relationship building, internally at different levels within the organization, external partners and 3rd party providers.

We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. Bonus eligibility varies by role and is determined based on the position’s impact and contribution to our strategic goals.

Pay Range

$90,000 - $120,000 USD
