Job summary

The Quality Manager leads QA and QC at the manufacturing plant, reporting to the Senior Director of Global Quality. This role drives continuous improvement, ensures product quality attributes are met, and develops high-performing teams while being the primary contact for audits, inspections, testing reviews, and customer complaints.

They will partner with plant leadership and external stakeholders to support organizational success and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Degree (BSc/MSc) or equivalent in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with cGMP and GLP in food, ingredients, or dietary supplements.
• Minimum 3 years of microbiology lab experience (plating and enrichment techniques).
• Knowledge of ISO 22,000 audits; awareness of ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Experience with hazard analysis and risk‑based control points.
• Strong auditing, compliance, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage quality personnel, including scheduling, reviews, hiring, and budgeting.
• Quality Systems: Assess and establish systems aligned with GMP, GLP, ISO, and customer requirements.
• Laboratory Oversight: Ensure proper testing, release procedures, deviation handling, OOS, and CAPA systems.
• Documentation: Author, revise, and maintain SOPs, forms, and controlled documents.
• Audits & Compliance: Prepare audit reports, manage certifications, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Customer Complaints: Investigate complaints, identify root causes, and implement CAPAs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Supply Chain, Product Development, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance.
