Position overview:

  • The Quality Assurance Manager (2nd Shift) ensures all Topps and Fanatics Collectibles products meet high standards of quality, integrity, and timeliness. Responsibilities include optimizing automation, processes, managing staff, and maintaining safety standards within the plant. The role interfaces with internal product development teams and external supply chain partners. Reports to the Vice President of Quality Assurance and Compliance.
  • This position is located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and is in person.
  • Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm)
  • Must be able to work extended hours, including overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays as production demands.

Key qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years in quality assurance and team management in manufacturing.
  • 3-5 years in supervisory or management roles.

Experience in quality assurance:

  • Developing and maintaining quality control systems.
  • Managing quality assurance programs and ensuring compliance.
  • Conducting quality audits and addressing issues.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Supervision and leadership of production and QC staff.
  • Implementing quality control procedures and audits.
  • Managing safety and compliance standards.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Resource management and staff training.
  • Effective cross-departmental communication.
  • Tracking KPIs and reporting on department performance.

Required skills:

  • Proficiency in manufacturing software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Ability to analyze production data and apply problem-solving techniques.
  • Understanding of process optimization methodologies.

Physical demands include prolonged standing, lifting up to 35 pounds, and working in a manufacturing environment with variable conditions.
