A growing, highly regulated technical services organization is seeking an experienced quality leader to oversee enterprise-wide quality programs. This role is responsible for the management of technical and administrative resources, as well as administering, developing, and maintaining effective and efficient quality systems that support regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management strategy aligned with organizational objectives, including resources, systems, timelines, and financial considerations.
- Monitor performance against established standards and take action to ensure expectations are consistently met.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and potential quality concerns across operations.
- Partner with senior leadership to enhance process efficiency, consistency, and overall business performance.
- Serve as a key point of contact for quality-related matters, including overall satisfaction, feedback, and issue resolution.
- Support the evaluation and resolution of feedback, including nonconformances and corrective actions.
- Provide guidance to internal teams regarding expectations, performance trends, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Ensure quality requirements and best practices are effectively communicated and understood across the organization.
- Lead, mentor, and promote accountability for quality outcomes at all levels.
- Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process enhancements and quality-focused programs.
- Encourage and support professional development, training, and relevant certifications.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems (required).
- Strong experience with nuclear quality programs, including ASME NQA-1 (required).
- Experience with applicable nuclear regulatory requirements (e.g., 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21).
- Working knowledge of additional industry standards (e.g., ASME, API, AWS, ASNT, NBIC, or similar).
- Proven ability to manage simultaneous internal and supplier audits.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to safe work practices in both office and field environments.
- Willingness to travel (approximately 25–30%).
- Authorization to work in the United States without restriction.
The expected salary range for this role is $140,000 - $172,000. Exact pay will be commensurate with location, experience, and qualifications.
