Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead a site QA team and uphold strict FDA/USDA compliance across daily manufacturing operations. The role focuses on protecting product safety, maintaining brand integrity, and driving operational excellence on the 1st shift.

You will oversee QA staff, manage regulatory documentation, perform laboratory testing, and develop SOPs while maintaining the Quality Management System and sanitation programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a site-level QA team of 4 to 5 technicians and oversee daily production line checks, ensuring safety and sanitary protocols.
• Manage USDA/FDA paperwork and the Document Management Program.
• Conduct microbiological and analytical lab testing and evaluate products against specifications.
• Draft technical specifications and write SOPs for quality processes.
• Oversee Master Sanitation Schedule, Allergen Management and GMPs/SSOPs, and assist in HACCP plan development.
• Maintain and update the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS) and analyze quality data for improvements.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead a site-level QA team of 4 to 5 technicians, ensuring strict adherence to food safety, product standards, and regulatory requirements across daily manufacturing operations.

Shift: 1st Pay: $80 - $90k

• Team Leadership & Oversight: Direct daily activities for the QA staff, audit daily production line checks, and enforce facility-wide adherence to safety and sanitary protocols.
• Regulatory Compliance & Documentation: Manage USDA/FDA paperwork, oversee the Document Management Program, and uphold government recordkeeping standards.
• Quality Control & Testing: Conduct microbiological and analytical lab testing, perform product evaluations against established specifications, and collect retention samples for raw materials and finished goods.
• Formulation & Spec Management: Analyze product formulations, draft technical specifications, and write standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Sanitation & Safety Programs: Oversee the Master Sanitation Schedule, enforce Allergen Management policies, maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and SSOPs, and assist with developing HACCP plans.
• System Maintenance: Maintain and continuously update the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS) while analyzing quality data to drive operational improvements.
