Job summary

Denver-based position with a 100-year-old Colorado aggregates & asphalt producer seeking a Quality Control Manager to own material quality from the pit to the jobsite and lead the QC technicians who ensure every load meets spec.

Candidates should have 5+ years in aggregate QC with leadership, strong hands-on test methods, and CDOT/AASHTO/ASTM experience. Relocation welcome; base salary $100K–$150K plus full benefits.

Hiring: Aggregate Quality Control Manager — Denver, CO

I'm partnering with a well-established, 100 year old Colorado aggregates & asphalt producer to find their next Quality Control Manager for the aggregates side of the business. This is a build-and-lead role: you'll own material quality from the pit face to the jobsite, and lead the QC technicians who keep every load in spec.

What you'd own:

• QC program for aggregate (and asphalt-feed) products across plants and jobsites
• Lab and field testing — gradations, specific gravity/absorption, moisture, LA abrasion, soundness, fractured faces
• CDOT / AASHTO / ASTM compliance and source approvals
• Leading, training, and certifying a team of QC technicians
• Working shoulder-to-shoulder with plant managers, operations, and CDOT/agency inspectors
