Interclypse, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead and establish robust QA processes for software projects, ensuring high standards across the entire development lifecycle.

The role requires building and maintaining QA programs, mentoring teams, and coordinating with Maryland state agency projects onsite to ensure reliability and compliance within a growth-minded organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Six years of experience in quality assurance and quality control.
  • Three years in verification and validation, software testing and integration, and metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Determine resources required for quality control.
  • Maintain quality throughout the software life cycle.
  • Develop software quality assurance plans.
  • Conduct formal and informal reviews at predetermined points in the development life cycle.

Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. All positions are required to be onsite at various locations in Maryland.


Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Manager must be capable of maintaining and establishing a process for evaluating software and associated documentation. The individual in this position performs the following tasks:



  • A. Determining the resources required for quality control;

  • B. Maintaining the level of quality throughout the software life cycle;

  • C. Developing software quality assurance plans; and

  • D. Conducting formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the development life cycle.


Requirements

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. (Note: A Master’s degree is preferred.)

  • Six (6) years of experience in quality assurance and quality control

  • Three (3) years of experience in verification and validation, software testing and integration, software metrics, and their application to software quality assessment
