Job summary

True Organic Products seeks a QA Supervisor to oversee daily quality controls and regulatory compliance at the Helm, CA facility. You will supervise QC staff on site, ensure testing procedures and QA policies are followed, and maintain documentation to meet GMP and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include auditing, corrective actions, and ensuring USDA Organic, FDA, and EPA compliance across products, with travel to other sites as needed for audits and coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Quality Management, Agriculture, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within food, agriculture, fertilizer, chemical, or manufacturing environments.
• HACCP Certification required.
• FSMA PCQI Certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of GMPs, traceability systems, and regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day quality control activities and regulatory compliance at Helm, CA facilities.
• Provide direct supervision to QC personnel on site and ensure QA policies and testing procedures are followed.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including USDA Organic (NOP), FDA, EPA.
• Oversee raw material, in-process, and finished product testing activities and verify results.
• Maintain traceability systems and support mock recalls and regulatory inspections.
• Train and mentor QC staff on testing procedures, GMPs, and documentation standards.
