Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. in Mt. Vernon, MO is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA department and drive plant, category, and enterprise goals. This on-site role emphasizes training, coaching, and continuous improvement in quality, food safety, and sanitation programs.

You will collaborate with Operations, Sales, and regulatory teams to meet customer requirements, implement PCPs/CCPs, and maintain audit-ready systems while managing budgets and overseeing partner performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food/Dairy Science or related.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in QA teams in the food industry.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and licensing/certification programs.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead QA program design and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train, coach, and evaluate QA partners to meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, USDA, FDA, EPA, EEOC and other regulations.
• Maintain audit-ready quality, food safety, and sanitation programs daily.
• Manage department budgets and participate in capital project analysis.
