Job summary

Thrive Freeze Dry is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor in American Fork to oversee quality staff and ensure adherence to food safety and regulatory standards. The role involves coordinating audits, investigations of quality events, and maintenance of documentation and SOPs to support safe, high-quality products.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a background in GMP/QC, and the ability to train others while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced food manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• PCQI, HACCP or SQF certifications preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing quality systems desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new tasks and apply training effectively.
• Able to perform essential functions with/without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise quality staff across multiple operational areas.
• Lead or support internal and third‑party audits.
• Investigate quality events including NCRs, CAPAs, SCARs.
• Review deviations and maintain cGMP compliance.
• Provide training to quality staff and support teams.
• Maintain Document Management systems and SOPs.
• Ensure products are produced safely and sanitary.
