Job summary

Upstate Niagara Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to support the Dale Road Plant in Buffalo, NY. The role focuses on GMP, FSMA compliance, QA documentation, and leadership of the lab and quality team within the plant.

You will partner with the Quality Assurance Manager, plant management, and corporate QA to drive food safety programs, internal audits, and continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food, Dairy, or Natural Sciences or related field with at least 3–5 years in QA.
• Experience with GMP, FSMA and SQF is required or preferred.
• Strong documentation control and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain site Food Safety & Quality plans in line with FSMA and SQF requirements.
• Serve as Document Control Coordinator, ensuring current revisions of documents.
• Provide leadership for facility laboratory operations and training of personnel.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and ensure corrective actions are effective.
