Job summary

This role balances quality, throughput, cost, and data-security compliance in a fast-moving environment while developing the people who perform the work and driving KPI performance across first-pass yield, defect rate, and audit accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience in electronics testing, inspection, or quality control.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma is a plus.
• Familiar with ERP systems (preferred).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of quality-control associates with performance guidance.
• Define and enforce inspection criteria, testing protocols, and grading standards.
• Conduct inspections, quality audits, and inspector calibration.
• Track KPI data: first-pass yield, defect/escape rate, returns, and throughput.
• Investigate defects and implement corrective actions with production.
• Ensure data-sanitization and security procedures for devices.
• Generate regular quality and performance reports for management.
