Job summary

Battelle in Columbus, OH seeks a Quality Assurance Officer to ensure compliance with government regulations, client specs and internal policies. You will assess documents, conduct inspections, develop corrective action plans and mentor junior staff within the National Security Division.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years in QA, relevant certifications, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Occasional travel to nearby Battelle sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 6 years QA experience
• Professional QA certifications (RQAP, ISO) or equivalent
• Knowledge of regulatory practices and applicable guidance
• Periodic travel to Battelle's West Jefferson, OH location
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities across research and operational environments
• Determine corrective actions for noncompliance and track effectiveness
• Review planning documents for compliance
• Perform and supervise QA audits and inspections
• Mentor junior QA staff and coordinate with QA Manager
