Job summary

The Staffing Ninja is seeking a Lab Technician I to join our QA laboratory team. The role focuses on testing raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal specs and customer requirements, while upholding GMP and safety standards.

You will document results, calibrate equipment, and collaborate with production to address deviations. AAS/BS in lab science or equivalent experience with 2+ years in a similar setting is expected, with bilingual EN/ES

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED plus an AAS/BS in a lab science or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in QA/food manufacturing or similar industrial lab environment is required.
• Auditing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support plant food-safety culture and comply with all safety and regulatory requirements.
• Inspect incoming materials, test visually and instrumentally, approve or reject per specs.
• Verify in-process materials meet specs and communicate adjustments to supervision.
• Approve finished products and prepare certificates as needed.
• Record results accurately in quality databases and logs.
• Calibrate equipment and assist with work orders; collect samples for external labs.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and support sanitation efforts.
• Complete training as needed for proper onboarding.
