ABOUT THE JOB



  • Understand and follow all established safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.

  • Maintain files and test results, record corrective procedures, control reports and supporting data in accordance with prescribed procedures.

  • Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.

  • Conduct testing processes and procedures to perform physical and analytical product quality tests on finished syrup and beverage, inspect raw materials, and perform microbiological testing. Use laboratory test equipment and apparatus to conduct tests.

  • Run control drink on finished syrups to ensure taste and quality.

  • Ensure accuracy of equipment through calibration and documentation.

  • Sanitize tanks and equipment to ensure company quality standards are

  • Locate necessary ingredients in inventory and transport to syrup room for Blend syrup ingredients according to established standards and procedures.

  • Unload sugar/concentrate

  • Interpret blending/sanitation schedule requirements and plan personal schedule accordingly to suite priorities.

  • Periodically perform inventory checks and sort concentrates and Assure ingredient stock is rotated.

ABOUT YOU


The ideal candidate will have basic mathematical skills, the ability to problem solve, and good communication skills. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English and follow written and verbal instructions. Requires the ability to operate and utilize a computer, and laboratory and test equipment. Basic knowledge of soft drink operations and SPC is preferred, but not required. Must exhibit ability and desire to work within a team but can work alone. Works with minimal supervision, be a self-starter who leads by example, and be dependable. Requires the ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
