Job summary

Hensley Industries seeks a QA Lab Tech in Dallas, TX to support quality and reliability across magnetic particle and ultrasonic testing.

You will generate reports, calibrate equipment, and help design processes to meet customer specifications while maintaining safety and production standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in lab environment preferred.
  • Experience with Magnetic and Ultrasonic Equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals and standards.
  • Must read and write English.
  • Perform routine lab duties in a fast-paced setting.
  • Adhere to safety rules and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret results of Magnetic Particle and Ultrasonic inspections.
  • Generate reports summarizing Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle testing investigations.
  • Perform lab testing to ensure product meets mechanical and chemical properties.
  • Calibrate Ultrasonic testing equipment.
  • Design, implement, and improve processes to meet design intent and customer requirements.
  • Measure and analyze data concerning materials, product, or process quality.
  • Generate reports summarizing testing investigations and use MS Office for documentation.

Hensley Industries is seeking a strategic-minded and results-focused QA Lab Tech, In Dallas TX.

DESCRIPTION OF PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Perform and Interpret results of Magnetic Particle and Ultrasonic Inspections
  • Generate reports summarizing Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle Testing investigations
  • Perform lab testing using various lab equipment to ensure product meets mechanical and chemical properties
  • Perform calibrations on Ultrasonic testing equipment
  • Design, implement, and improve processes/standards to ensure product meets design intent and ensure product meets or exceeds customer requirements and expectations
  • Responsible for measuring and testing product and tabulate/analyze data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability
  • Perform lab testing using various lab equipment to ensure product meets mechanical and chemical properties. Perform calibrations on Ultrasonic Testing Equipment
  • Equipment that will used are test bar cutting saw, band saw, and other lab equipment
  • Generate reports summarizing Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle Testing investigations
  • Generates reports summarizing Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle testing investigations. Microsoft Office, Word and Excel proficient
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENT

High school diploma, some college coursework preferre

  • Experience in lab environment preferred. Experience with Magnetic and Ultrasonic Equipmen
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, written instructions, industry standards and specifications to perform required duti
  • Must read and write Englis
  • Experience in working in a fast‑paced production environment preferre
