Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Quality Intern to assist in determining production standards for aerospace components by collaborating with quality control systems. The role focuses on learning and enhancing product quality and quality systems within a global engineering environment.

The candidate will work with Quality, Engineering and Operations staff and gain hands-on experience in inspecting, testing, and auditing processes to ensure conformance and timely data-driven reporting.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or related degree.
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the Quality, Engineering and Operations staff
  • Determining quality improvement factors of each product and process
  • Evaluate methods to inspect, test and evaluate aspects of manufacturing processes, products and equipment
  • Review to make sure processes adhere to quality standards
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
  • Work in accordance with deadlines for delivery of products or software
  • Perform product audits to ensure process is able to produce conforming hardware

Education Requirements

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
