Job summary

Suncast Corporation in Batavia, IL, is hiring a QA Inspector to ensure products meet the Manufacturing Process Plan and quality standards. You will rotate through molding, assembly, and distribution while testing parts and documenting results.

Responsibilities include following testing procedures, entering inventory transactions, and communicating non-conformances clearly. The role requires reading drawings, basic math, and the ability to work six days per week in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and documents.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Familiarity with Quality Assurance concepts is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work well without direct supervision.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to work 6 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Test parts and assemblies using established procedures.
• Follow established inspection methods and sampling plans, conduct testing and inspection in any department, including molding, assembly, distribution, and receiving.
• Enter inventory transactions.
• Conduct all work promptly and with accuracy.
• Thoroughly document data such as product non-conformances and inspection findings and clearly communicate results.
• Standing for periods of time and moving on foot throughout the plant conducting inspections is required.
• Support and comply with all Suncast safety policies, quality standards, and housekeeping methods at all times.
