Job summary

Nutramax Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector I to support daily QA on the manufacturing and packaging processes on site.

The role requires maintaining a consistent presence on the production floor and being readily available to support production in assigned areas. We currently have openings on 2nd and 3rd shift with hours: 2nd shift 3:15pm–11:30pm; 3rd shift 11:15pm–7:15am; 1st shift training may be required (M-F 7:00am–3:30pm).

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in the pharmaceutical, food, dietary supplement manufacturing environment or any other government regulated environment preferred.
• Great enthusiasm and hard work ethic is a must.
• Detail oriented and team centered approach is required.
• Good computer skills on all general software – Microsoft Office Suite.
• The ability to lift 50lbs and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all procedures.

Responsibilities

• Providing QA presence in production areas through daily execution of packaging lines, manufacturing processes, room clearances, and release of cleaned equipment/rooms/areas.
• Assisting in deviation investigations and reviewing the pest control and environmental monitoring system.
• Issuance of labels and/or other printed material to operations as per current production schedule.
• Assist with identification of minor and major errors in batch records.
• Organize work to achieve daily goals with no errors or deficiencies.
• Provide impact on issues that could affect product quality, safety, and purity.
• Training on SOPs, safety procedures, and cGMPs as required and current.
• Submit end-of-day reports detailing daily activities, issues, and actions taken.
• Communicate effectively with other departments and function within a team environment.
