Job summary

Contract Pharmacal Corp. is seeking an Inspector for QA Manufacturing to ensure product quality across all manufacturing phases in accordance with current GMPs. The role involves in-process monitoring, sampling, documentation, and batch record release in a fast-paced production environment.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and knowledge of GMP and GDP practices. You will work on-site in Hauppauge, NY with environmental monitoring support and occasional training responsibilities

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; GMP knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor in-process manufacturing metrics (weight, thickness, hardness, disintegration, friability).
• Maintain good documentation practices and collect samples as required.
• Support collection of microbiological samples per procedure.
• Perform room inspections/clearances and batch record release.
• Conduct AQL sampling and report non-conformances to management.
• Review SOPs for production compliance and assist in training.
• Support environmental monitoring (water, air sampling) and QA for coating operations.
• Review and approve batch records and related QA forms.
• Maintain QA supplies and review weekly pest control logs.
• Handle sample transmittal to QC and accounts; monitor grounds logbooks.
• Perform monthly checks of facility fire extinguishers.
