Job summary

Uniloy INC in Michigan is seeking a Quality Inspector to support the Quality Management System. You will inspect parts and assemblies using CMMs and manual tools, identify variances, and coordinate with engineering to disposition non-conformances while maintaining production schedules.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, familiarity with CAD/ERP systems, and strong math and communication skills to document inspection results and drive root-cause improvements.

Qualifications

High school diploma and post-secondary training in quality control.
Quality control certification preferred.
1–2 years of manufacturing experience.
Experience with high-complexity machines and machining is a plus.
Strong math and technical skills.

Responsibilities

Inspect parts and assemblies using CMM or manual instruments to verify conformance.
Escalate non-conformances from shop floor or warehouse.
Coordinate disposition with engineering and schedule production.
Maintain non-conforming material crib and update MRP.
Work with Supply Chain on vendor returns and parts procurement.
Document inspection outcomes with detailed reports.
Track quality metrics and present data to leadership.
Perform internal audits to identify improvements.
Maintain incident database and identify trends.
