Job summary

Anchor Fabrication Tennessee is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure products meet established requirements. You will monitor inspections at various stages, including 1st Piece, In-Process, and Final Inspections across punching, braking, jambing, and assembly areas to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.

The role also covers dock audits before shipping and maintaining inspection records. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, able to read blueprints, and proficient with calipers,

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience as a Quality Inspector I.
• Familiar with metal fabrication and assembly environments.
• Experience with metal stamping, brake press, punching, welding, and assembly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret specifications.
• Familiar with GD&T knowledge and reading blueprints.

The Quality Technician will ensure that final product delivered to our customers is compliant to established requirements. The Quality Technician will monitor that the Quality Inspection activities performed by Quality inspectors and Operators such such as 1st Piece, In-Process Inspection, and Final Inspection at the Punches, Brakes, Jamb cell, and HRI assemblies, and the Final Inspection at all assembly areas (78\", Conventional, NGP, and HRI are performed according to requirements.

The Quality Technician is responsible for monitoring the Dock Audit activities of the product prior to shipping. All assembly walk-throughs will also be subject to a Dock Audit before shipping to Customers to ensure that the product is according to specifications and the adhesive has cured.

• Familiar with a metal fabrication and assembly environment, preferably familiar with metal stamping, brake press, punching, and metal cutting, welding, and assembly environment.
• Previous Quality Inspection experience is preferred.
• Familiar with surface plate measuring and the use of calipers.
• Must have one (1) year of experience as a Quality Inspector I
