Job summary

Olgoonik is seeking a QCE Warehouse Specialist to perform quality control evaluations, testing, and training within the distribution center in San Diego, CA. The role includes inspections, audit support, and data handling in DSS, with a focus on continuous process improvement.

The position requires at least a high school diploma, two years of general/quality experience, and the ability to obtain Safety/HAZMAT/radiation certifications within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years of college preferred.
• Minimum two years’ general experience; two years in inspection/quality assurance preferred.
• Ability to certify in Safety, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) and radioactive training within 30–60 days of selection.

Responsibilities

• Identify, examine, classify, inspect and report on quality issues and quality management.
• Assist in creation and implementation of Quality Control Plan.
• Conduct Quality Control checks on completed project work.
• Execute mock audits to ensure project team members follow MIL-STD-129 and SOPs.
• Report Non-Conforming results to Project Lead and track QCP results.
• Validate processes through sampling and measurement techniques; perform first article inspections as required.
• Input data to Distribution Standard System (DSS) and other systems.
• Be the quality control point of contact for the distribution mission.
• Review inventory, COSIS, packaging and shipping processes for continuous improvement.
