Job summary

KDC-ONE Columbus is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for first and second shifts. You will lead inspection activities, verify product appearance and weight, and help drive continuous improvement on the production floor.

Required is a high school diploma or GED with at least 2 years in a quality role, preferably in manufacturing. SAP familiarity and strong problem-solving skills are a plus; you will train staff on GMPs and safety.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required, college coursework preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in a quality-related role, ideally manufacturing.
Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
Proficient with measuring and testing devices.
Strong computer skills and problem-solving abilities.
Solid understanding of FDA GMPs and OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

Evaluate product defects and recommend solutions during inspections.
Collaborate with production teams to coordinate schedules and support new product launches.
Investigate failures and deviations to identify root causes and corrective actions.
Audit production records for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain training in operations, GMPs, safety, and environmental practices.
Verify ongoing quality checks for appearance, weight, and other specs.
