Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform disintegration tests.
  • Conduct physical tests on finished bulk.
  • Perform AQL sampling and defects inspection on finished bulk and third party bulk.
  • Perform FT-NIR tests on specified materials.
  • Place product on QA Hold and release when appropriate.
  • Pull samples according to ANSI/ASQC Z1.4 2003 AQL requirements.
  • Train and use ERP and warehouse systems for QA tasks.
  • Complete logs and production appearance check sheets.
  • Perform daily balance and monthly lab equipment calibration verifications.
  • Report quality or safety concerns to supervision.

Overview

Position Overview

Under direct supervision of the Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor or QA Team Leader, thispositionis responsible forensuring finished products conform to the established quality standards andagency guidelines, to ensure customer satisfaction. Shift lengths may vary from 8,10, or 12 hoursdepending onassignedarea.Weekend shift schedules require two8-hourdays and two 12-hour days.

Shift: Weekends - Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00am-6:00pm

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour plus $0.90 shift differential

Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities

  • Perform disintegration test
  • Perform physical tests on finished bulk
  • Perform AQL Sample Inspection Defect and Defect Level Limits on finished bulk, third party bulk Perform AQL Sample Inspection Defect and Defect Level Limits on finished bulk, third party bulk
  • Perform FT-NIR test on TGAsoftgeloils (Applicable to Woodruff Facility)
  • Physically place product on QA Hold and release product when necessary
  • Pull samples based on the ANSI/ASQC Z 1.4 2003 AQL requirements
  • Train and use ERP and Warehouse system for all QA job functions
  • Complete all logs and product appearance check sheets
  • Train to perform daily balance calibration verification
  • Train to perform monthly lab equipment calibration verification
  • Report any questionable quality or safety issues toappropriate supervisorypersonnel
  • Review and approve PE and PAW forms when requested

Qualifications

Education,Experience, and Licenses:

  • HighSchool Diploma/GED equivalent.
  • 2-3 years’ experiencein manufacturingor qualityenvironment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel, basic data entry skills
  • Excellent math,verbaland written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate respectfully with employees of all levels
  • Must be able to handle, inan expeditiousmanner, multi tasks and priorities

  • Knowledge of and compliance with company policies and SOP’s and understanding ofall ofthe

  • Follow batch record instructions andmaintainaccurateand legible production records
  • Ensure proper labeling of finished product while completing all necessary paperwork /documentation asrequired
  • Ensure that correct raw material and lot numbers are being processed
  • Ensure proper recording and usage of batch recordsperestablished processes
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and proper documentation
  • Know and understand the cGMP and other regulatory compliance
  • Ensure job specific safety procedures areestablishedand followed
  • Maintain awareness and enforcement of health and safety practices and activities
  • Be involved in the development, implementation, and updating of health and safety plans and
  • procedures
