Quality Technician

Troy Innovative Instruments is a medical device and defense contract manufacturer seeking a skilled inspector to join our team. If you are a team player who is looking for a home where the environment is positive and personal and professional growth is encouraged, we look forward to meeting you.

Basic Requirements:

  • Must be able to do in process and final inspections to meet print specifications.
  • Use of measurement equipment including but not limited to: micrometers, calipers, comparator, gauges, Mahr height gage, optical comparator, profilometer, laser mic, etc.
  • Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
  • Must be able to complete inspection records and work order documents as required
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and 13485 highly preferred including good documentation practices.
  • Understanding of FAI, First Piece approvals and in process inspection methods.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • CMM operation experience preferred
  • Vision System operation experience preferred
  • Calibration knowledge preferred
  • Gagetrack knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent

This is a full-time position with the opportunity for overtime.

1st Shift - Monday through Friday - 8 hours

2nd Shift - Monday through Thursday - 10 hours

Pay is based upon skill and experience. There are timely performance reviews.
