Job summary

Steico Industries, Inc. in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Quality Inspector to uphold safety policies and oversee the product development process to ensure all products meet quality standards.

You will perform tests at various production stages to verify customer specifications, blueprints, and Purchase Order requirements. PM Shift: Monday - Thursday 3:15PM - 01:45AM, with a pay range of $18.00-$21.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of QA engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprint drawings.
  • Knowledge of measuring gauges, calipers, and instruments.
  • Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

  • Final inspection of product to ensure compliance to customer technical specifications, blueprint and Purchase Order requirements.
  • Inspect, test and/or measure materials or products being produced.
  • Document FAI measurement results and complete AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports.
  • Act as liaison with other departments and organizations.
  • Provide leadership, technical advice and counsel to team members.
  • Investigate, recommend, and implement process improvements that affect quality, cost and speed.
  • Report quality problems or finds to QA Manager and follow up to ensure corrective action takes place.
  • Maintain record of inspections and prepare lists of defects, interacting with other departments to ensure compliance with specifications.

As a Quality Inspector you will:

The Quality Inspector is responsible for upholding current safety policies and oversees the product development process to ensure that all products meet quality standards. The Quality Inspector is also responsible for performing tests on products at various stages of production to ensure that customer specifications, blueprint, and Purchase Order requirements are being met and company quality standards are followed.

What will my responsibilities include?
  • Final inspection of product to ensure compliance to customer technical specifications, blueprint and Purchase Order requirements.
  • Inspect, test and/or measure materials or products being produced.

  • Ensure that all quality check procedures put in place by the company are followed during every production phase.
  • Must take full responsibility for product that is shipped to Customers
  • Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate
