Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector in Jerome, Idaho. The role oversees quality systems to ensure cost-effective, safe production within Novolex standards. Directly reports to the Quality Manager or Lead.

Responsibilities include upholding quality policy, continuous improvement, documentation, and equipment calibration. This full-time position requires the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts and pass pre-employment screens.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Background and drug screen clearance required.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts.
• Overtime may be required.
• Must complete training as directed by management.
• Able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.

Quality Assurance Inspector

Jerome, ID

Compensation Includes

• Starting pay rate $18/hour

Available Shift

• 12 hour shifts
• 223 schedule, rotating days & nights

Overview

The Quality Inspector has the overall responsibility and authority for quality and procedures and operations. This position oversees quality systems in order to produce products in the most cost-effective and safe manner while operating within Novolex quality standards. This position reports directly to the Quality Manager or Quality Lead.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for implementing and maintaining the quality policy to ensure quality standards and goals are met for the organization
• Promotes an environment of continuous improvement of quality
• Responsible for maintaining documentation and production approvals in the area of quality
• Advises supervisors and techs on quality issues, product security, and related product quality performance
• Maintain and calibrate all lab equipment and procedures to standard
• Acceptable attendance required
• Manages equipment and controls for training and effectiveness
• Cross-trains within the department to ensure coverage

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
• Ability to work 12-hour day and night rotating shifts
• Work overtime as required
• Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management
