Job summary

Schumacher & Co., America’s leading name for manufacturing and distributing fabric, wallcovering and furnishings, seeks an Inspector for its distribution center. The role involves inspecting fabric and wallcovering to ensure quality, verifying SKUs, identifying defects for returns, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Forklift certification is required.

The shift is 1st, 7:30 am–4:00 pm, with guaranteed 40 hours and overtime potential. A potential sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable standing for long periods.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in person and via email.
• Experience with quality assurance is preferred.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Willing to cross-train in other departments.

Schumacher & Co., America’s leading name for manufacturing and distributing fabric, wall covering, floorcovering and furnishings is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector. This person will be part of an integral team responsible for inspecting fabric and wallcovering at our distribution center.

ABOUT THE POSITION

• 1st shift 7:30 am- 4:00 pm
• Guaranteed 40 hours with potential for overtime
• Potential Sign on Bonus
• Inspect all fabric and wallcovering to ensure it meets quality standards
• Verify SKU number and description to ensure accuracy
• Properly identify defects for returns
• Perform repetitive movements
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to certify on a forklift

YOU HAVE/ARE

• Comfortable being on your feet
• Be organized
• Good communication skills in person and via email.
• Experience with quality assurance is preferred
• Have a no project is too big mindset
• Work well with a growing team with the possibility of advancement
• Always on time for work and have good attendance
