Job summary

Donaldson Company is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector in Dixon, IL to inspect materials received and in-process components, ensuring conformance to engineering requirements and specifications. The role is 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm, with a pay rate of $21.51 per hour and eligibility for an annual incentive plan based on performance and growth.

Responsibilities include maintaining quality policies, creating inspection reports, and verifying material properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop technical skills and innovative solutions.
• Ability to calculate figures such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume and concepts of geometry.
• Proficiency with internet, e‑mail systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Job description

The Quality Assurance Inspector position is located in Dixon, IL and will inspect materials received and work in process of aerospace and industrial components, ensuring conformance to engineering requirements, specifications and special instructions. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm.

Role Responsibilities

• Understand, maintain and execute Donaldson Quality Policies and Procedures.
• Create and maintain electronic In-Process Inspection Reports.
• Inspect manufactured product for uniformity, conformance and record.
• Verify physical and chemical properties of materials used in the manufacturing process.
• Complete non-conforming material reports.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $21.51. Actual salaries may vary based on experience, training, education and performance. This position is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth.
