Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure materials, components, and finished products meet quality and regulatory standards. This role requires using precision measuring equipment and maintaining thorough inspection records.

You will support continuous improvement initiatives, assist in training junior inspectors, and create inspection procedures, ECOs, and DRs while handling Oracle transactions and daily

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Quality Inspection experience in a regulated environment (Medical Devices/Aerospace/Manufactured parts).
• Experience with GD&T (Geometric, dimensional, and tolerance).
• Experience working with quality documentation, inspection records, and nonconformance reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving inspections on incoming materials and components.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of subassemblies and finished products.
• Read, interpret, and follow inspection procedures, engineering drawings, sampling plans, and workmanship standards.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, safety, and company policies and procedures.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, etc.).
• Maintain receiving inspection records and enter data into company systems.
• Process and document nonconforming materials through DRs.
• Assist with training and development of Quality Inspector I personnel.
• Create and maintain inspection procedures, ECOs, and DRs.
• Generate inventory status reports and reconcile discrepancies.
• Perform Oracle transactions (product acceptance, delivery, BOM generation).
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Support daily operations by addressing routine questions in supervisor's absence.

Insight Global is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector that will be responsible for performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure materials, components, and finished products meet quality and regulatory standards. This individual will utilize precision measuring equipment, maintain inspection records, support continuous improvement initiatives, and assist in training junior inspectors.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Perform receiving inspections on incoming materials and components.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of subassemblies and finished products.
• Read, interpret, and follow inspection procedures, engineering drawings, sampling plans, and workmanship standards.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, safety, and company policies and procedures.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and electronic test equipment.
• Maintain receiving inspection records and accurately enter required data into company systems.
• Process and document nonconforming materials through Discrepancy Reports (DRs).
• Assist with the training and development of Quality Inspector I personnel.
• Create and maintain inspection procedures, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and Discrepancy Reports (DRs).
• Generate inventory status reports and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
• Perform Oracle transactions, including product acceptance, product delivery, BOM generation, and related system activities.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Support daily operations by addressing routine questions and resolving minor issues in the supervisor's absence.

Must Have Requirements:

• 5+ years of Quality Inspection experience with Medical Devices, Aerospace Background, or Manufactured Parts in a Regulated Environment
• Experience with GD&T (Geometric, dimensional, and tolerance)
• Experience working with quality documentation, inspection records, and nonconformance reporting systems

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
