What you can expect as a Quality Assurance Inspector at West Star:

This position oversees all assigned production work scopes to ensure compliance with the West Star Repair Station Manual and Federal Aviation Regulations. You will collaborate with Program Managers, Team Leaders, and Quality Control Inspectors, perform work order surveillance, and create maintenance log entries for aircraft maintenance and modifications. You will also complete FAA approval and return-to-service paperwork, assist Engineering in ensuring repairs are compliant, and ensure aircraft quality control meets FAA standards. Daily job duties may vary.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform work order surveillance to ensure the condition of the product at all times.
• Create maintenance log entries meeting return-to-service requirements.
• Analyze data for FAA form 337’s for Major Repairs and Alterations.
• Prepare Weight and Balance Reports.
• Coordinate work scopes with relevant teams daily.
• Gather and organize documentation for customer delivery and work orders.
• Update FAA forms and records to support timely return to service.
• Perform internal audits as needed.
• Maintain daily contact with the Team Leader to meet schedule and quality standards.
• Maintain customer-oriented work habits.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
