Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Bossier City, LA to ensure parts meet design standards. You will inspect to blueprints, document loads with photos, and support the QA team through cross-training across departments.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (GED) and 1+ years in quality control in manufacturing; an electrical background is a plus. Strong attention to detail and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years in Quality Control or related field in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Electrical background a plus.
• Be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Be able to accurately verify all parts to print using a tape measure.
• Possess effective communication skills.
• Must be able to work efficiently without supervision.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspects parts to blueprints/design drawings.
• Cross-train in other areas of the Quality Control Department and fill in when the need arises.
• Ensure that all documentation is accurately and neatly completed including pictures of loads.
• Uses various dimensioning tools (i.e. 25/50 foot tape measure, 6\" rules, combination squares, levels, etc).
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times with personnel of the Quality Department and all departments at Sabre.
• Additional duties as assigned
