Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Quality Assurance Import Specialist. Open to an in-office or hybrid role if you are in close proximity to White Plains, NY. The specialist will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality control of imported products. Daily tasks include conducting quality assurance checks, managing quality control processes, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and performing quality audits. Additionally, the specialist will be required to maintain records of quality management activities and liaise with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills
• Experience in the food industry
• Experience in Quality Management and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
• Proficiency in Quality Documentation Auditing
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in the agricultural or food industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science is a plus
• PCQI Certification or experience working within guidelines is ideal
• FSVP Certification is ideal
