Quality Assurance Engineer (Work-from-Home, Project-based)
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our client's small, talented, creative team of professionals. As a QA Engineer, you ensure quality across the platform through robust game and system testing, performance validation, and careful examination of integrations such as RGS. Your expertise in testing casino games guarantees a smooth, secure, and immersive experience for every player.
Responsibilities
- Execute rigorous platform-level testing to identify functional, UI, and system defects.
- Validate RGS (Remote Gaming Server) integration and ensure compliance with casino game protocols.
- Perform performance and stress testing across various devices and configurations.
- Develop comprehensive, ISO-level test plans and edge‑case scenarios based on game specs.
- Document and maintain test cases that are repeatable and executable by team members.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and other QA team members to proactively address risks, bugs, and quality concerns.
- Track code changes and ensure regression testing is conducted after every update, fix, or refactor.
- Identify opportunities to improve QA processes and enhance testing efficiency.
- Participate in Agile sprints and Scrum ceremonies to align QA activities with development timelines.
Desireable Skills and Experience
Must-Haves
- Minimum 3 years of experience in casino slot game testing or similar game QA environments.
- Familiarity with casino game testing protocols and RGS validations.
- Experience using QA tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis, FogBugz, or similar.
- Excellent understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to anticipate edge cases and platform inconsistencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and test tracking.
Nice-to-Haves
- ISO testing procedures experience.
- Exceptional technical writing and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
- Prior experience in performance/stress testing and mobile platform testing.
- Familiarity with test automation tools is a plus.
