Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer in Atlanta to join an agile team. You will develop and execute test plans, perform manual and automated testing, and ensure system reliability and user experience for our customer engagement platform.

You will document results, communicate defects, mentor peers, and help estimate testing efforts while expanding knowledge in REST APIs, UAT, and integration testing. A Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with quality assurance testing.
• Experience with manual, automation, and performance testing of applications on platforms like Microsoft Power Pages, ServiceNow, or Salesforce.
• Experience with test case planning and building a regression test case set.
• Experience with integration testing, regression testing, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and End User Training (EUT).
• Experience with using agile project management tools like Jira, Jira Xray, and GitHub.
• Experience with test automation and programming languages commonly used for testing such as Gherkin, C#, Java, Ruby, JavaScript, or Python.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices, REST API, and tools such as Postman.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a test plan based on requirements and functional specifications.
• Use QA to generate problem resolutions and track quality standards.
• Document results and communicate defects to the development team for improvement.
• Expand testing experience across manual, automated, usability, UAT, and process improvement.
• Lead and mentor others, estimate testing efforts, and contribute to test strategy.
