Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer – Manufacturing to support quality systems, engineering documentation, process improvement, inspections, and manufacturing operations.

This opportunity targets professionals with strong ISO 9001, GD&T, metrology, root cause analysis, corrective actions, SPC, and engineering drawing expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Full-time day shift with DOE compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or related field preferred.
• Approximately 6 years of related Quality Engineering experience or strong combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems and internal auditing.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, metrology, engineering drawings and print reading.
• Experience in a manufacturing, quality, process, engineering or R&D environment.
• Understanding of root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Experience with SPC, quality data analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Strong documentation, communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve new and revised engineering drawings, DCNs, QCIPs and quality documentation.
• Support and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Conduct and assist with internal quality audits.
• Implement and monitor SPC processes.
• Analyze quality and production data to identify trends, defects and improvement opportunities.
• Create reports, graphs, charts and tables to communicate quality findings.
• Lead or support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Utilize problem-solving methods including 8D, A3, 5-Why, Fishbone Diagrams, Fault Tree Analysis and Corrective Action Reports.
• Develop and formalize quality-related training programs and train personnel.
• Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Production and Quality teams.
• Support weld testing processes and perform production weld tests as needed.
• Assist with additional Quality Assurance and Quality Control initiatives.
