Responsibilities
- IncomingInspection: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials and componentsto ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Documentation:Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including non-conformancereports and corrective actions taken.
- Collaboration:Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues andimprove the quality of incoming materials.
- QualityStandards: Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and guidelinesfor incoming inspection processes.
- DataAnalysis: Analyze inspection data and trends to identify areas for improvementand support decision-making processes.
- Training:Provide training and support to team members on quality standards, inspectiontechniques, and best practices.
- ContinuousImprovement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed atenhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
- Audits:Assist in internal and external audits related to incoming inspection andquality control processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’sdegree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- 3+years of experience in quality engineering, with a focus on incoming inspectionin a manufacturing environment.
- Strongunderstanding of quality control methodologies and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, ISOstandards).
- Proficientin using measurement tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Excellentanalytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively withsuppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Proficientin Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificationin Quality Engineering (CQE) or similar accreditation.
- Experiencewith statistical process control (SPC) and quality improvement techniques.
- Familiaritywith industry standards related to electrical or mechanical components.
