Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems in Bothell, WA is seeking a Quality Engineer II to develop methods for process control, testing, inspection, and continuous improvement to ensure products meet design intent. You will lead root cause analyses and supplier quality initiatives while supporting AS9100 compliance.

With travel up to 25%, you will collaborate with design and production teams, perform MRB, FMEA, Gauge R&R, and audits, and drive improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience or equivalent combination required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• AS9100 quality system knowledge and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes quality standards for products and processes to prevent defects.
• Works with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate quality risks.
• Audits processes, raw materials, and suppliers to ensure standards are met.
• Conducts root cause analysis for defects and implements corrective actions.
• Supports ISO 9001 compliance and related quality initiatives.
