Job summary

Fenner Precision Polymers, part of the Michelin Group, is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to join our team in Manheim, PA. You will serve as the primary QA resource for problem identification, continuous improvement, and supplier quality support within a manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes process control, audits, PPAP documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver quality products and transitions into production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3–5 years related experience or training.
• Working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Proficient in SPC and quality data analysis.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized and able to work independently or in a team.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems and audits.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary QA resource for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement methods for process control, testing, and inspection.
• Support supplier quality requirements and monitor supplier performance.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers and internal teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support New Product Project teams for smooth product transitions into manufacturing.
• Assist Engineering, Manufacturing and Marketing with product improvements.
• Document first article inspections (PPAP) and maintain QA records.
