Job summary

Timken is seeking a Quality Analyst/Engineer to ensure products meet internal and external requirements and advance our Quality Systems, Supplier Quality, and continuous process improvements.

You will support corrective actions with operations and other stakeholders, resolve supplier quality issues, assist with AS9100-related activities, and monitor quality metrics daily, weekly, and monthly to drive data-informed improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in root cause analysis, lean, Kaizen, and 6 sigma tools.
• Prefer working knowledge of AS9100D / ISO9001 requirements for quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and improve processes to prevent defects from being passed to customers.
• Lead/support internal problem solving and closure of corrective actions and customer complaints.
• Support supplier quality issues and corrective actions with purchasing and SQD teams.
• Participate in internal auditing for TQMS compliance.
• Support quality metric reporting and data-driven improvements.
• Provide quality training for personnel and manufacturing teams.
• Act as quality representative for floor support in TMOS rapid response.
• Review FAI/PPAP packets and certificates of conformance.
• Complete at least one major quality CI project annually (FMEA/Control Plan).
• Support MRB activities and internal root cause analysis.
• Be active in the Quality Team PACE plan.
